During the past two years, The Bee
Research Unit in the National
Center for Agricultural Research and
Extension have been held many
specialized courses in beekeeping
for more than 100 beekeeping
specialists and trainers from Iraq,
in collaboration with several
international organizations, such
as:
JICA, FAO, USAID.
These training courses
included several guidance and
specialized lectures in the field of
beekeeping, as well as scientific
visits by the trainees to various
apiaries and practical application
that they received in the honey
beekeeping unit apiary, located in
Maru agricultural station about
diseases that affect bees and how to
deal with and control, as well as
train them in queen production. |
